ABOUT Gresham TURF Field

Join us at Atlanta's Gresham TURF Field

Gresham Field | 2466 Bouldercrest Rd. | Atlanta, GA 30316

Gresham Park is a hub for youth baseball and softball in South Atlanta. It is where several major and minor league players got their start including, current Atlanta Braves Outfielder, Michael Harris. In 2022, major renovations were completed in the park thanks to funds from DeKalb County SPLOST and the Atlanta Braves Foundation - adding artificial turf to each field, installing new fencing, and making draining improvements. As a part of the renovations, a baseball field was dedicated to the late, Hank Aaron, and a softball field was dedicated to Bill Lucas, the first black MLB General Manager.

For over 50 years, Gresham Park has been home to the Gresham Park Baseball and Softball Association.(GPBSA) Their program teaches boys and girls ages 3-16 baseball and softball skills, as well as shaping their minds and molding their character through extensive mentoring. The Atlanta Braves RBI program also utilizes Gresham Park for its youth baseball and softball programs. As a place in the community where families connect and young players develop their skills and character, the Gresham Park improvements will preserve the fields for future generations of players.
